Context & Motivation
Sound is often treated as a background element—something we listen to, but rarely interact with. In most digital products, sound is either functional feedback or passive content, leaving little room for personal expression or emotional nuance.
VibeClip started from a simple question: what if sound could be carried, triggered, and shared as part of everyday interaction? Rather than designing another audio platform, this project explores sound as a tangible and expressive medium that lives between the physical and digital.
By combining a small, portable object with a digital interface, VibeClip investigates how sound can become more personal, playful, and emotionally present in daily life. The project is motivated by an interest in expanding sound interaction beyond screens and headphones, and into objects people can touch, carry, and use as part of their routines.
Reframing Sound as Interaction
VibeClip reimagines sound as an intentional, emotional interaction that can be carried, triggered, and expressed through everyday objects.
Sound in VibeClip is not designed as background feedback or passive content.
Instead, it becomes something users actively carry, trigger, and use as a form of personal expression in everyday life.
A sound object designed to be clipped into everyday life.
A portable physical trigger that brings sound beyond the screen.
VibeClip is a portable, clip-shaped device designed to trigger sound through simple physical actions.
It allows sound to be carried, attached, and activated as part of everyday objects and routines.
Carry & Attach
The clip form allows VibeClip to be attached to clothing, bags, or objects, making sound a portable part of daily life.
App Experience
The VibeClip app connects to your device and enables sound to be sent, shared, and experienced through physical interaction.
Users can browse and subscribe to sounds from a sound library, record and send their own audio, and share playful sound moments with others.
Designed for young people and teenagers, the app emphasizes fun, creativity, and light-hearted social interaction rather than complexity.

Logo Design
The VibeClip logo system explores the idea of sound as a simple, recognizable object.
Inspired by the physical form of the clip, the logo is reduced to a pixel-based silhouette that is flexible across different contexts — from app icons to branding applications.
Multiple variations allow the logo to adapt to different scales and interfaces while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
